The University Library of Erlangen-Nürnberg offers an wide selection of electronic books. Electronic books, or ebooks, are generally electronic copies of printed books.

They often have added functionality over their print equivalents.

  • Use of ebooks
    • Ebooks are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
    • Ebooks can be read by several users simultaneously.
    • Ebooks are available without waiting time or reservation.
  • Search
    • Various search options, such as full-text search over the entire ebook, facilitate navigation through the document.
  • Citation
    • Most ebooks are rendered in PDF format. They are identical to the print version, so citation is essentially the same as for the print version.
    • You may copy  passages of the  text and paste them into your word processor for citation or further processing of the content.
