Sunray workstations in the University Library
- The internet workstations located in the University Library are dedicated to access to academic information resources such as electronic databases and OPACs as well as information concerning professional work and training.
- Persons using the library’s internet workstations are expected to comply with the regulations defined in Allgemeine Benützungsordnung der Bayerischen Staatlichen Bibliotheken (ABOB) (=General rules for the use of the Bavarian State libraries) and Benutzungsrichtlinien für Informationsverarbeitungssysteme der Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (=Rules for the use of Information Processing Systems of the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg)
- The workstations are not for e-mail, news groups, chats, SMS, etc. Sending search results, in accordance with above-mentioned regulations, to the user's e-mail is permitted.
- By accessing the internet at the library's workstations users acknowledge the regulations laid down in the documents mentioned above. Staff members who observe activities which may be in violation of the Library's policy will encourage customers to pursue other activities .
- The library charges 0,05 € per printed page. Payment may be made by cash or copycard, depending on the copier .
- Failure to use the internet as defined in these regulations (esp. those in paragraph 1) may result in ending a current session or even in the suspension or revocation of internet access privileges.
